Louisiana is the Bayou State, the Pelican State, Sportsman‘s Paradise. She has the most unique cultures, delicious food, lively music, perverse politicians, entertaining spiritual leaders, determined thinkers. Ladies and gentlemen, she invites the world to Mardi Gras.

This collection celebrates the natives that don’t readily come to mind when considering the personalities that have come from this mystical state.
